Broad Support of HPF Reauthorization

At this time, the letter remains open for additional signatures expressing support

Calling all National, State and local historic preservation-minded organizations/agencies/ companies/entities!

Yesterday, national leaders in historic preservation rolled out a sign-on letter in support of bipartisan legislation introduced earlier this year by the House of Representatives Historic Preservation Caucus co-chairs, Congressman Mike Turner (R-OH) and Teresa Leger Fernández (D-NM). At this time, H.R. 3418 is the only legislation introduced in the 119th Congress which seeks HPF reauthorization.

The goal is to garner signatures representing National, State and local historic preservation-minded cohorts, in support of reauthorizing the Historic Preservation Fund.

While individuals are not permitted to sign on, the preservation community is welcome to circulate to their local, state, and national preservation & preservation-adjacent thought leaders – with a request that they sign!
